Delete your Furr account
You can delete your Furr account and its data yourself in the Furr app. If you can't use the app, email us and we'll do it for you.
In the app
- Open Furr.
- Go to Me.
- Tap Delete account.
- Enter your password.
- Tap Delete my account, then confirm.
It happens straight away and can't be undone.
Before you delete
Want to keep your pets' records? Share or save each pet's health card first: open the pet, go to Health and tap Share.
Paying for Furr Plus? Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Deleting your account or the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
What is deleted
- Your account, your login and your profile photo
- Pets only you look after, with their photos
- Their health records and files, daily care plans and ticks, weight history, and expenses with their receipts
- Your family-sharing invite codes, your place in pets others shared with you, and your device's notification token
- Reminders on your phone, which stop
- When community features arrive: your posts, comments, photos, votes, saves and reports
What is kept
- Pets you share with family. Each one passes to whoever joined it first, with all its records, so their care isn't lost.
- What you added to other people's pets (records, ticks, weights, expenses) stays with those pets, without your name.
- Health cards you already shared are outside Furr, so we can't delete them.
- Backups. Copies in our providers' backups disappear as those backups expire, normally within 30 days. Google can take up to 180 days to remove sign-in data from all its systems.
- Legal records. We keep something longer only if the law requires it or it is needed for a legal claim.

Can't use the app?
Email support@furr-labs.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Furr account". We may ask you to confirm it's you. We'll delete your account and its data and confirm by email within 30 days.
Only want some data deleted, such as one pet or one record? You can delete those yourself in the app, or email us and we'll help.
